It was one year today that I made my first post to my blog. Many things have happened over the last year. Some good and some bad. It’s hard to believe it’s been a year already but time does fly fast these days.

New Spore Patch with Free Creature Parts!

Just got this email from Maxis:
Hey everyone,
A new Spore patch is just around the corner!We’ve heard your requests for more parts, and we’ll be releasing 24 new exoskeleton limbs for free in this patch! This includes 12 new arms and 12 new legs to make your creations creep and crawl along.
You’ll also see some other parts here that you may not recognize - we wanted to give you an exclusive peek at some of the new content to be available in the upcoming Creepy & Cute parts pack.

My Alienware misadventure

I decided to buy myself a new computer for my birthday this year. I thought I’d treat myself to the #1 rated gaming computer as written by PC Gaming Review. After all, I’d heard that Alienware was top of the line. I deserve that, it’s my birthday.
So I went on the Alienware website and made my awesome dream gaming computer. I ordered the Area 51 7500-R5 with Windows XP Media. All the specs below as listed by the company. I ordered this computer on 8/29/08 the delivery was supposed to be within 5 days. I recieved the computer on Sept 13, 2008, two weeks after the order was placed. Now they also promise a very thourough process when making your computers. Now pay close attention to step 7, the quality control part. My system breezed right through that part. Why? They never checked it.

This is the last game preview that I experienced at the Blogger’s Day event on Sept. 22nd. The title of this game pretty much says it all. This game is all about animals. This demonstration was presented by creative director Charles London. The setting starts in a forest with a few trees. As you take care of the trees and plants, you attract new animals. Your goal is to make friends with the animals, build their trust and get them to move in.
MySims Kingdom

MySims Kingdom
This is the main game that we previewed at the Blogger’s Day event on Sept 19th. We attended a presentation and then got some hands on play at then end of the day.
This game is again for the Wii platform. It’s not a sequel to the original MySims game but a continuation with a different experience.
