I live in Eastern NC close to the beach. I’m a member of the Gaming Steve forum since March of 2005 and a forum moderator since Dec. 2005. I’m also a member of Sagan 4 and helped make the website and wiki for that project. I recently join 2old2play.com.
I play a lot games. I used to play console games, mostly for the Game Cube. In past 3 years I’ve been playing more PC games such as Sims2 and Civ4. I am a big fan of the Sims games and I use a Sim of myself as my avatar on most forums. I’ve made several Sim Storytelling games using forum members. I’ve been told that Maxis and Will Wright have actually read them.
Special Events
Sept. 2007 – Attended blogger’s day event at the EA Headquarters in San Francisco and got to meet the developers of the Sims Games including Goopy, who is indeed a real person.
Nov. 13, 2007 – Created my blog and made my first post.
April 2008 – My creature was chosen by Maxis earlier this year to be featured on their website with 7 others as fan created creatures. That was a surprise and an honor for me as I don’t consider myself very creative.
July 2008 -I was asked to be a moderator on the official Spore forum. On that forum I am called SporeMasterLadyM.
August 22, 2008 – Attended the Spore Community Day event in Emeryville, CA and got a preview play of Spore.
Sept. 2008 – Attended EA Blogger’s Day event in Emeryville, CA on behalf of Gaming Steve
Sept 2009 – Attended EA Blogger’s Day event in Emeryvill, CA on behalf of Loot Ninja
Mar 2010 – Attended PAX East in Boston on behalf of Loot Ninja.com.

I own a Mini Cooper Convertible. My dog is a pug who is very old now. I travel a lot and I’ve been to Europe, the Caribbean, Canada, Alaska and all over the US. Most recently to Italy. I like to drink coffee in the morning with cream only.
I started this blog site as a way to talk about things that I like. Games, movies, computers, electronics, travel, almost anything. I found myself playing games and wishing for a place to write about it. I’ve invited other forum members to join me as bloggers. They have different opinions and perspectives and knowledge in areas that I don’t.
