I went to this show on the last night in Las Vegas and what a fun show it was. Located in the Venetian Hotel and Casino, it started at 9:00 at night. I sat in the front row so I had a great view. He did a little bit of everything, singing, dancing and improv comedy. The audience participation made it even funnier. Luckily, I was not chosen for anything. In one segment he went to sing to a woman, she was 72 and a retired home maker. Her day now consists of sleeping late and going to Vegas and Atlantic City and her daughter said she had toilet paper stuck on her shoe three times. While cracking up himself, Wayne made up a musical play with his fellow comedian friend about this lady and had us all in stitches.
After the show, I got to meet him and was able to tell him the story of how we sort of met four years ago at Disney World, when he rode the Safari ride in Animal Kingdom with us. He sat in the front frow and I sat behind him. While he didn’t remember me, he did remember that trip to AK. I got a picture and an autograph.
If you’re in Vegas any time soon, check out his show. It’s well worth the ticket price and lots of fun. You also never know who might be attending his show. While I was there, Scott Bakula was also there, he was my second celebrity siting of the trip.
If you’re a Wayne Brady fan, check out his first album coming out in September. “A Long Time Coming”. He has samples of the music on his web page. Two thumbs up for Mr. Wayne Brady!!
